Hot Sling Summer Playlist

01 — Project details

I led the strategy, creative direction, and execution of Sling TV's "CTV Heatwave" multi-channel marketing campaign, designed to engage our programmatic media buying audience. To generate buzz and build anticipation for the event, we partnered with our guest DJ for the Hot Sling Summer event—DJ SVPPLY (IG | TikTok)—to curate a Spotify playlist featuring 12 iconic music moments from some of our favorite TV shows. Initially shared exclusively with our guest list, the playlist was later rolled out on social media to a broader audience. As part of our social strategy, we also launched a targeted paid media campaign on LinkedIn and Instagram to reach event attendees and amplify engagement.

02 — Creative process

Music really can bring us all together but so does great TV. In collaboration with our guest DJ at the Hot Sling Summer event, we’re combining the best of both worlds by creating a playlist of 12 classic music moments from some of our favorite TV shows. The tracks span several decades, several genres, giving you a taste of some unforgettable classics. 

We packed the house, surpassing our target with 120+ key media buyers and partners in attendance. Our LinkedIn paid media campaign played a crucial role in driving awareness and engagement, effectively reaching event attendees and amplifying our message across the platform. The combination of organic and paid social efforts helped build excitement leading up to the event, ensuring strong turnout and meaningful interactions with our target audience.
